Consultant, Physician Join Northwest Wound Care and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
Karen Lermon and Amanda Hartman, MD, have joined Northwest Wound Care and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy.
Karen Lermon, Wound Care Consultant
Karen comes to Northwest Wound Care and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy with seven years of prior marketing and consulting experience. She spent four years recruiting for the TTUHSC Department of Pediatrics and has marketing experience in the home health industry. She received a bachelor of science degree in education in 1988 from Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos and taught middle school math and science for 10 years.
Amanda Hartman, MD
Dr. Hartman joined Northwest Wound Care and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy in August 2016. A native Texan, she grew up in Waco and obtained her undergraduate degree in biology from Baylor University. Dr. Hartman attended medical school at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, where she was part of the inaugural class of the family medicine accelerated track program. She completed her residency in family medicine at Texas Tech University in Amarillo, Texas. Dr. Hartman is now the Medical Director of the program, where she specializes in treatment of chronic wounds and hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
